COOP arrives in Dallas – Fort Worth Market

January 22, 2020

COOP by Ryder, the platform that matches owners with idle vehicles to local businesses looking for rentals, is expanding to the Dallas – Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex. We’re excited to bring this first-of-its-kind platform with successful southeast launches in Atlanta, Miami, and Orlando to the greater DFW area.

The Metroplex can start taking advantage of this innovative business-to-business commercial vehicle-sharing solution to its transportation demands.

Vehicle owners can list their trucks, tractors, or trailers on the digital platform to generate revenue. Once they’re up, they can set vehicle availability for idle periods and receive guaranteed payments when the vehicle is returned.

Vehicle renters can find local vehicles with the specs they need at competitive rates in the marketplace. Renting takes no paperwork, comes with a free uber ride to the pickup spot, and is often closer than the nearest rental counter. We even offer an on-demand rental liability insurance product.

Get started generating revenue by putting your vehicles in good hands. As always, each transaction comes with Ryder’s 24/7 roadside assistance, physical damage insurance, and a $1 million liability policy. Plus, all users are thoroughly vetted so that you can share with confidence and stay focused on what matters most – your business.

Between the five interstates, major railroads, and one of the busiest airports in the world — DFW is an economic hub full of businesses transporting goods. We’re bringing this business network together by giving them a platform to share their commercial vehicles right from COOP’s new mobile app.

“We are entering the Texas market backed by the success we have already enjoyed in Georgia and Florida and with new tools for our customers, like our mobile app, which makes the process of sharing equipment much easier on mobile devices,” said Rich Mohr, Chief Technology Officer for Ryder Fleet Management Solutions. “The Dallas-Fort Worth area is one of the largest trucking markets in the United States and as COOP gains momentum, so does our customer base. We are proud to now offer Texas businesses and fleet owners the opportunity to generate revenue from their idle vehicles.”

Over 1,100 businesses have joined the platform already. Many of our customers have grown with COOP, finding new ways to improve their businesses along the way.

Bowman Trailer Leasing is already successfully leveraging COOP in the Georgia and Florida markets. Using the platform for its operations in Dallas is the next step. “Our experience with COOP has shown us the benefit it can bring to our business, so we are excited to use it to help us tap into the Dallas-Fort Worth area – an already very profitable market – in new ways,” said Leonardo D’Agostini, Business Development for Bowman Trailer Leasing. “COOP makes it easy to convert our idle vehicles into an alternative revenue source, and now the app will make it an even more seamless process.”
