Navigating COVID-19 and Changes to Your Business

July 17, 2020

Governors across our core markets have announced various changes in regulations as a result of increasing cases of coronavirus. It has had an impact on businesses including limitations on operations in their states, meanwhile some essential businesses have to show up now more than ever. We’re here to help businesses amidst the latest COVID-19 news and work through this unprecedented time together. If your business plans to get back up and running, here’s how we can help.

Protect your health during a rental

Keeping you and your drivers protected on rentals is of the utmost importance to us. Here are some of our recommendations if you have an upcoming rental:

    • Clean and sanitize the vehicle, including the keys, between each driver and rental
    • Limit your exposure and keep appropriate distance to other individuals in crowded public locations like at rest stops or delivery locations
    • Wash your hands after touching any areas where there is a lot of contact, such as door handles or cell phones.

For the most up-to-date information and for more direction specific to your city or county, we suggest following all guidelines on the CDC website and local news.

We know the services you offer won’t happen without effort, so we’re offering our help this summer. There is opportunity for both Renters and Owners trying to navigate these unique times.

Generate Revenue for Your Business

Owners, if your vehicles are idle, there are plenty of trusted businesses on COOP that want to rent the vehicles you’re not using. Check out our Summer Insights for Owners blog for the best ways to leverage your commercial vehicles on the platform in these challenging times.

We understand that lease payments don’t stop for businesses with sitting vehicles. In our rental marketplace, businesses that are nonessential can still generate revenue and offset their expenses through COOP. Many businesses that have joined COOP are generating enough revenue on the platform to cover their monthly vehicle payments.
